Have you ever wanted to start journaling or perhaps you want to find more inspiration for your journaling?

This course has been designed to kick-start and motivate you.

I adore journaling and writing and I hope that this fills you with the ideas and inspiration you have been looking for.

Course structure

We start by looking at creating a magical month and then move onto your gratitude practice, after which it's the weekly themes and prompts.

Each week has a different theme so that at the end of the week you can really feel like you can see yourself with new eyes.

In this course there are four themes:

  • Simplicity
  • Balance
  • Flow
  • Inner Peace

At the end of the journaling month, it is then time to start reflecting and appreciating how the month was and what you have learned.

Why journal?

A journal is a written record of your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and observations. You can write in your journal daily, or only when you feel the urge. Journaling is then the act of keeping, writing, reflecting and making personal change through the art of keeping a journal.

Writing in a journal is such a fantastic and cathartic way of getting lots of stuff out in private. We are sometimes plagued with thoughts and emotions we don’t understand, nor do we want to tell anyone about, so getting it out on paper is perfect.

The main reason you are keeping a journal is that you want to be able to express freely and be able to say precisely what you want and through reflection seek to make meaning, change aspects of your life, and live in better harmony with yourself.

How long will it take?

It takes as long as you would like. How you work through the material should be done in a way that suits you. You are encouraged to journal for at least 30 days to create a good habit. The exercises are designed to get you thinking and for you to a) follow in a linear fashion or b) randomly try things.

In between drinking white tea, experimenting with recipes and walking the loves of my life - Ferdy dog, Marley Moo & Angel, I can be found writing. And I do a bit of abstract arty stuff with wire and wool.
