Why join The Journaling Club?
This club is for anyone who wants to start or maintain their journaling habit. Writing is cathartic and when you add in reflection and creative life writing the opportunities for change and healing open up.
So often with journaling people don't know how to start or what to do. By having prompts and exercises you can stay motivated every day.
I use journaling to support my adventures through life. Journaling is the foundation of everything I have ever created. And it can be for you too.
Journaling is the clearest pathway to your inner wisdom that I know of. You will be amazed at the words that flow from your pen and act as a reminder that your soul knows just what you need to know and will guide you if you are open.
A journal is your best friend, sounding board, your constant companion.
Love to journal - gives you the foundations for a better life and takes you on a journey. That all starts when you first pick up your pen and write in a journal. To then reflect on what you have written and rewrite it with positive intention so that you change your story.

Who is the journaling club for?
If you’ve never journaled, find the idea intimidating, or have no idea where to start, this course is for you. You'll find your style and way of journaling and be off to a great start.
You’ve written in a journal sporadically over years, but never seem to get a practice in place, this course will get you back on track.
You want additional inspiration and a supportive community.
You want inspiration and to use The Journaling Club to help you to maintain your writing habit and help you to get your book written
The club structure
We start by looking at what journaling is and in the first few modules get you started on your journaling journey and writing each day.
After you have got used to your daily journaling, you will find that as you start reflecting you will see where your unhelpful patterns of behaviour are. I hope through this practice you will be encouraged to change thought patterns, habits, beliefs and perceptions.
Both journaling and reflecting are immensely healing activities in themselves. I have added in creative life writing as I have witnessed both my clients and myself getting huge benefits from melding fact with fiction to come up with some factional stories, which put us back in the driving seat of our lives.
Your monthly journal
Each month you will get a new journal for you to download. The journals come in PDF format. You can just print out the prompts page and use your own journal or you can print it all out and use that as your monthly journal.
You will also get affirmations, creative writing prompts and mandalas.
Many people who use journalling have discovered that they also have a book inside of them. You may not want to publish your book, however, this course will lead you from journaling into kick starting your memoir and writing your life story and may give you the confidence to start thinking about writing a book..
By enrolling in this course, you're giving yourself time and space to develop the relationship with the foundations of who you are and what you want.
Dale Darley, AKA The Word Alchemist.
Dale is a prolific writer and journaler. She teaches others how to write to heal and then how to heal others through your writing. She has used writing to heal for understanding and healing the effects of childhood trauma, narcissistic relationships and illness. Writing has supported Dale in her journey to love herself and refind her wild.

So who am I?
I have been described in many ways - enthusiastic, high energy, inspirational, motivation and fun. I have also been described as quirky and beautifully eccentric, which I do indeed take as a compliment. What you get is what you see. What I want for you, is to own who you are and to share your gifts with the world.
In between drinking white tea, experimenting with recipes and walking the loves of my life - Ferdy dog (RIP), Marley Moo & Angel, I can be found writing. And I do a bit of abstract arty stuff with wire and wool.
